Let's meet Hugo

Hello, My name is Hugo and I'm in charge of the coordination between ALTEN's French headquarters and Asian branches at ALTEN     Korea.

I graduated with a master's degree in Asian international relations and business and joined ALTEN Korea in October 2023 after professional experiences in both France and Singapore in different fields (communication, recruitment, consulting, etc.).

In the Strategic Planning Department, we are responsible for the respect of the consistent image and method of ALTEN Group in Korea and beyond.

Before joining the company, although I was naturally curious, the IT and engineering fields were not included in my knowledge. So I was worried about how I would be able to help ALTEN Group.

Moreover, as ALTEN Korea is my first experience in a Korean working environment, I had long working hours, strong hierarchy, strict rules, and work-life imbalance expectations.

After entering the company, as a leading international group in various fields, I have been able at ALTEN to discover new personal and professional interests, develop and strengthen new capabilities, and effectively help the group through coordination and communication with headquarters in France and Asian branches.

Even if I make mistakes when speaking in Korean sometimes, I’m delighted that I found a comprehensive and professional atmosphere with overwhelming support from colleagues and superiors to help me to become better everyday at work. It is easy to share our opinions, and I found a better work-life balance than I thought.

My personal and professional goals within ALTEN Korea is to successfully integrate a different working environment than my home country, develop new capabilities in various fields, and contribute to the group's decisions and projects by giving ideas and opinions.

I want to develop the strategic planning office and become an entrusted representative of ALTEN Korea to ensure the consistency and good image of the group through strengthened communication and connection with headquarters, branches, and partners, and contribute to the recognition of ALTEN Korea.

As our Strategic Planning Office is composed of colleagues from various nationalities, speaking different languages, and responsible    for strategies, we are dealing with a variety of tasks such as introducing new methods or software, forming teams, and coordinating   with departments, branches, and headquarters for projects.

This allows us to come up with ideas to improve ALTEN Korea and the entire group, and we are always involved in exciting and             important projects.

The Strategic Planning Office welcomes those who are curious to develop and strengthen their in-depth engineering and IT skills in a wide range of areas, with a diverse work competency and a strong propensity for international relations and communication.

One of the main things I like about ALTEN is that we can evolve within the group and improve our knowledge through the Career Path. ALTEN puts employees at the heart of their values, listens to their needs and ambitions, and allows us to grow quickly within our department, or discover other areas if we are curious and qualified.

Feeling responsible due to the impact of our work on ALTEN Korea as a whole and the impact of our work on our colleagues leads to great satisfaction. These aspects give meaning to our work, and as a result, make us feel that we find the right place in the ALTEN Family.
